betXchange Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data betXchange collects, how it is used, who it may be shared with, and the privacy rights available to South African account holders.
Information betXchange collects
betXchange collects personal information during registration and ongoing account use, including full name, date of birth, South African ID number, contact details and banking information needed to process deposits and withdrawals. Additional data such as device type, IP address and betting or gameplay activity across sports and casino products like Aviator, Sweet Bonanza and Plinko is collected automatically to support account security and fraud prevention.
How your data is used
Collected data is used to verify a player's identity and age during KYC checks, process deposits and withdrawals through methods like Ozow, Capitec Bank and voucher-based options, and apply responsible gambling tools such as deposit limits and self-exclusion when requested. Betting and gameplay history is also used to detect unusual account activity, such as a sudden shift in deposit frequency, which may trigger additional verification before a withdrawal is processed.
Data sharing and storage
Personal data may be shared with regulatory bodies including the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board and the Eastern Cape Gambling Board where required for licence compliance, and with payment processors to complete a deposit or withdrawal request. Data is not sold to third parties for marketing purposes, and information is retained only for as long as needed to meet legal, regulatory and KYC record-keeping obligations under South African law.
| Data recipient | Purpose |

Your privacy rights
Account holders can request access to the personal data held on their account, ask for corrections to inaccurate information, or request account closure through betXchange support. A request to close an account does not remove data required for regulatory record-keeping until the applicable retention period under South African gambling regulation has passed, and any privacy query can be directed to support@betxchanges.co.za.
